Las Vegas Chinese Martial Arts Championship
In order to register for events, you must refer to them by their event numbers. All events and event numbers are listed on the Division Sheet, which you may download here:

Note: Sword fencing events (200 and 201) have been cancelled.

In addition, here are some rules that will help you in the registration process:
Grand Champion
Grand Champion competitors must pre-register. They will not be accepted at the door.

Categories and minimum requirements (advanced competitors only):
Pee-Weesone hand form, one long weapon, one short weapon
Kidsone hand form, one long weapon, one short weapon, one open weapon*
Juniorsone hand form, one long weapon, one short weapon, one open weapon*
Teensone hand form, one long weapon, one short weapon, one open weapon*
Adults Northernone hand form, Guan Dao form (men only), one long weapon, one short weapon, one open weapon*
Adults Southernone hand form, Guan Dao form (men only), one long weapon, one short weapon, one open weapon*
Taijitwo Taiji hand forms from different styles, Taiji straight sword, one other Taiji weapon
Other Internal Stylesone Xing Yi form, one Bagua form, one Liuhe Bafa form, and one internal weapons form (no Taiji weapons or forms)
*Open weapons includes any weapon except straight sword, saber, staff, or spear.
Open weapons divisions exclude any weapon that has its own category.
Advanced Northern Traditional includes all Long Fist except Drunken, Monkey, and Ditang. Advanced Northern Open includes Drunken, Monkey, Ditang (Ground Rolling) and any other acrobatic style. Acrobatic styles must be performed in Open divisions. Advanced Northern Other style includes Fanzi, Piqua, Chuo Jiao, etc.
Taiji 24 will be performed to completion. Taiji 24 does NOT qualify for Grand Champion. For competitors in Taiji and Liuhe Bafa, multiple competitors will likely perform at the same time.

Competitors must enter divisions at the same experience level. For example, if you enter an advanced hand forms division, you cannot enter a weapons division at a lower level.
Push hands competitors are limited to a single weight class. Multiple entries in different weight classes are NOT permitted. There is no formal weigh-in for Push Hands, although a weigh-in may be required on site if the referee questions a competitor’s designated weight class. Push hands will be held on Sunday.
All Youth Point Sparring will be held on Sunday. Where possible, competitors will be paired by height.
For San Shou and Grappling, weight categories may be combined on site, depending on the number of competitors. If you have ANY previous tournament experience in San Shou, boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, or grappling, etc., you do NOT qualify for Novice. Advanced San Shou competitors may NOT register for additional tournament events, other than Advanced Grappling.
Advanced San Shou and Novice Grappling will be held on Saturday. Novice San Shou and Advanced Grappling will be held on Sunday. Advanced Adult San Shou finals will be held Saturday night. San Shou and Grappling competitors will be admitted free to the Saturday Night San Shou finals.
San Shou and Grappling competitors must attend the rules meeting Friday night following the weigh in and provide a recent medical certificate. Teen fighters must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who will sign a release on site; otherwise, they will not be permitted to participate.
