Rick Barrett teaches Taijiquan and practices energy medicine in New York City. He has more than 25 years of experience in the internal arts and is the author of Taijiquan: Through the Western Gate as well as numerous articles for martial arts publications. In his seminars and writings he explains the most difficult and esoteric concepts in practical, understandable terms. As a push hands competitor, he dominated his weight class in the late 1990s. He has officiated at many martial arts tournaments throughout the country.

Anthony Lepoma began his studies of Chinese martial arts in the Wu Tzu Quan system and later went on to study Hung Gar and Bagua with Yim Hon Sok, Xingyi and Bagua with Xia Bo Hua, and Tai Chi Mei Hua Tang Lang with Sun De Yao. He has been teaching for 14 years.

Chris Luth: Founder of Tai Chi in Paradise Retreats (Costa Rica, Hawaii, Bali), the Pacific School of Tai Chi and Chi Kung (Southern California), and the original "Push Hands Retreat." Draws on nearly 35 years of training in Tai Chi, Chi Kung, and Meditation and more than 30 years of teaching. In the 1980s and 1990s won US National titles in Push Hands and in forms, and has been judging regularly at National competitions. Has written training guidelines for Push Hands referees, conducted training seminars for judges, and authored innovative Push Hands competition rules to focus on subtle skills.

Terri Morgan (Xing Li) has been studying and practicing Taiji and other internal arts for over 20 years. She is a three-time international champion and has consistently earned top awards in the US and in China for more than 10 years. Some of her awards include first place in Yang style Taiji at the first US National Chinese Martial Arts Competition (Houston, TX; 1989) and first place in traditional Taiji at the International Shaolin Festival (Zhengzhou, China; 1997). Her students have also won many awards at US national and international events. Terri has been an invited judge for national and international events since 1995 and has been teaching since 1988. Terri began her Taiji studies with Master Huang Weilun in 1985 and has been an inside student of Prof. Yuzeng Liu (Shi De Yu) for 18 years, studying a full range of internal arts (Wudang taiji, bagua, xingyi, Wudang qigong), sword, push hands and qin'na.

Sun De Yao has studied Tai Chi Mei Hua Tang Lang (Supreme Ultimate Plum Blossom Mantis Boxing) for nearly 50 years, learning from his uncle, Hao Bin. The system has been in his family for four generations. He is a committee member of the Shandong Wushu Society and has been included in the Boxing Masters Dictionary. He is vice president of the Hao Bin Mantis Boxing Martial Arts Center in Qingdao, Shandong Province, Peoples Republic of China. He has received many awards in competition and has been invited to offer seminars in several countries. He now teaches in Atlanta, Georgia.

Stephen Watson has been studying Eastern philosophy and martial arts for more than 20 years. He is a US, international, and world champion in Taiji push hands and is regularly featured in Inside Kung Fu magazine. He is committed to helping students understand the "why" as well as the "how" in their training. He currently operates the Silent Dragon Schools of Kung Fu and Tai Chi in Connecticut.

Yang Fu Kui was raised in a traditional martial arts environment in Tainjin, China. His family is well know for internal martial arts systems including Hebei Xingyiquan, Baguazhang, and Yang Style Taijiquan. As a teenager he was a member of the Tianjin Wushu Team. He graduated from the prestigious Tianjin College of Physical Education, became a martial arts coach, and competed in tournaments in China from 1972 to 1988, winning many national championships in empty hand forms, weapons forms, push hands, and San Shou fighting. He was Director at the Tainjin Medical Qigong Institute and currently is a professor of Oriental Medicine at Pacific College.
